BARCELONA, SPAIN!!!
Prompted by a psych conference, Mark & I flew to Spain for 5 days.
Other than the 1st couple of photos, the weather was beautiful.
Mark's psych talk went well & we made good use of our time sight seeing & hanging around the beach.

Sagrada Familia
Designed by Gaudi, the cathedral began construction in the late 19th century. Obviously, it is still under construction & will most likely be throughout our lifetime.
At the time of Gaudi's death in 1926 (he was hit by a tram), only one of the 2 towers had been completed.
It was in the 1930s that anarchists managed to set fire to Gaudi's plans...
We were told that the plans for much of the roof have been lost.
